This webinar is designed to help hospitals and healthcare organizations become informed about the proposed new E-verify requirements for Federal contractors. The executive order has been delayed until September; however, the new rule – if implemented – would require contractors to confirm the employment eligibility of all persons hired during a contract term with the federal government and conduct E-verify queries for all current employees who are assigned to the federal contract. Hospitals and healthcare organizations who are Federal contractors by virtue of CHAMPUS/Tricare agreements or other Federal agreements would be impacted by this new rule.

The webinar will also review the revised I-9 form and document requirements to achieve I-9 compliance and discuss other immigration enforcement trends impacting hospitals and healthcare organizations under the Obama administration.
